Ambulance billing is a delicate, complicated process. It's very easy to make mistakes without being aware of the error. Since 1986 we have taken over billing duties for countless EMS squads. Many of them who previously took on the task of billing in house and believed that they had been recovering all the revenue that was possible only to find that 15% to 50% of their total billing revenue was still in the hands of the major insurance carriers.

MCA, Inc. was founded in 1986. Tara Hardwick, the president of MCA, Inc. was the key person in deployment of EMS billing within our region during a time when billing for EMS services did not exist. All we have ever done is ambulance and fire billing and more recently in-house developed EPIC field data collection software. We have had countless opportunities to branch off into several different arenas of billing but to be the best there is in our field, we feel that it has to be our primary focus.

We have developed ways to stay on top of the ongoing changes with Medicare, Medicaid and CMS though a provider relations department. This department works 8 hours per day keeping their fingers on the pulse of the ever changing rules and guidelines of all the major insurance carriers and CMS. In addition we have a quality assurance department who checks and rechecks the work done by the claims processors to make sure that the job is done right the first time. One of our main goals is to ensure that your agency is getting every dollar that you deserve. Another one of our main goals is to ensure that you are not getting funds that you shouldn’t be getting through incorrect or illegal practices. We work hard to collect every penny that you deserve because unlike many billing companies, we only get paid on collected revenue. We don’t have a flat monthly fee or a per run fee and we require no funds upfront to get started! Also, we have no affiliation with collection agencies.
